The Beat-Toads: An Alternate History

In a paralell universe, one in which the United States of America never gained their independence, a musical group is formed that becomes the most popular entertainment act both on and off the planet.

The Whys and Hows of the book:

Author Russ Barkhimer, native of his own paralell universe somewhere in and around the actual area of Johnstown, PA, has been a fan of the real Fab Four ever since the evening in February 1964 when he first saw them perform on The Ed Sullivan Show.  The lad had already been an avid follower of science fiction, comic books and all things fantastical and so it was only a matter of time before he managed to combine his two favorite things.  The book was created through a combination of his own fevered imagination, several varied rumors he had heard concerning the group throughtout the late sixties as well as some actual facts.  The book was begun in late 1994, published in serial form on the now defunct Keep It Coming web magazine and finally put into book form in December 2006 by Publish America.  Those interested in purchasing the book can order it through the publisher or through Amazon.com.
